Raindrops Matching Mats and Activity Cards (Patterns, Colors, and Matching)

RAINDROPS * A great, low-prep task for students to complete, students will need to discriminate between the different colors to re-create the patterns on the activity cards.

How do I use this?

This activity is all about patterns and matching (and color identification). The mat, or the base, is what the child will be given to start the activity, along with the colored unicorns. To prep, print and laminate the bases and activity pieces. Add velcro on top of the gray dots on the bases and to the backs of the unicorns. Laminate the last page on cardstock and add velcro strips to store the unicorn pieces.

The activity cards should be printed, laminated, and cut out. Put in a task box or use a binder ring to keep the set together.

Students will re-create the patterns on the activity card using the mat and the activity pieces.
